OUR PHILOSOPHY
Rising Stars Day Care Center teachers and staff make every effort
to provide a secure, happy, enriching and loving environment
for children. We work to make each day a happy learning experience
for your child by setting a balance of individual and group activities
which help the children develop self esteem, their cognitive skills,
creativity and awareness of the environment and what they call social emotional skills.
Rising Stars Day Care Center also takes into account the cultural
and ethnicities of the children. The main scheme is that each
child is a unique human being with his or her own personality,
strengths and interests. Teachers manifest their respect for children
by encouraging them to think for themselves, make decisions, work
toward their own solutions and express their own ideas and feeling. Parents are the first and most important teachers of their children. and are encouraged to participate in a variety of center activities, including birthday and holiday celebrations, walking trips, field trips, parent-child experiential evenings, fundraising events and social activities. Parents are welcome visitors in the classroom at all times and may drop in at any time to visit their child and take part in classroom activities and special events.

MISSION STATEMENT
The mission of Rising Stars Day Care Center is to provide high quality, comprehensive early childhood programs for children, resulting in peace of mind and satisfaction for their parents. We foster independent, cognitive and emotional growth for each child by creating nurturing learning environments.
SCHEDULE
The daily schedule at Rising Stars Day Care Center is arranged so that children are engaged in a variety of educational and recreational activities. Children need a balanced schedule that includes time for instruction, time for free play, time for motor skills development and time for rest. A nutritious breakfast and lunch and supper are served each day along with healthy snacks.
